Red Bull Racing's pit crew are on form in the final stages of the season. At the Qatar Grand Prix the fastest time was again recorded by the team that had already patented it before the new rules.

Red Bull had some unusual mistakes in the pit lane after the winter break. The new regulations meant the Austrian formation was nowhere near as consistent, but the training hours are now starting to pay off as Red Bull climb back to the top of the timesheet.

Red Bull comes out on top again

Max Verstappen's pitstop took 2.19 seconds. That's already close to the limit set by the FIA, who slowed down pit stops mid-season with new regulations. However, despite the new regulations Red Bull already has a lead on the competition, as Verstappen's team is a tenth faster than the next on the list.

Ferrari is in that second spot, with Carlos Sainz's pit stop in 2.29 seconds. Mercedes are also getting better at this, with a 2.31-second stop for Lewis Hamilton. McLaren, Ferrari and Alfa Romeo are in the top ten with two pitstops and we also see one pitstop from AlphaTauri and in tenth place the pitstop of Esteban Ocon.
