Hamilton: "For me it is still not clear what is allowed and what is not"
Following last week's clash at Interlagos on lap 48, between Hamilton and Verstappen, drivers have been looking for clarification with what is allowed. Lewis Hamilton has admitted it still isn't clear what is permitted.
The two title rivals clashed on lap 48, with both drivers going wide off the track. Verstappen was not penalised for his role in the incident and this has left some confusion with how hard the drivers are allowed to push.
"For me it is still not clear what is allowed and what is not," said Hamilton in the post-qualifying press conference.
"I still don't know what the limit is on overtaking, it's clear now that it's not about the white line. I think there should be consistency. The rules should be the same for everyone until the last race. Will I be more aggressive in my racing now? Yes, I think so..."
