How social media reacted to Lewis Hamilton's disqualification at Interlagos
Lewis Hamilton will start at the back of the grid for Saturday's Interlagos F1 Sprint after it was deemed his rear wing and DRS infringed on the Formula 1 regulations. The internet and social media have been reacting to the news.
The announcement came around half an hour after Max Verstappen was given a fine for touching Hamilton's rear wing in parc ferme. Here's when the news broke

Hamilton still has a penalty to serve
The upshot for the Sprint is Verstappen starting P1, Hamilton from the back of the grid (as I expect the FIA will allow the damaged part to be fixed/replaced under parc ferme).

24 laps. Wherever Hamilton finishes, he still has a five-place grid penalty tomorrow #F1 #BrazilGP
Public Service
Max Verstappen got of a *little* lighter for touching Hamilton's rear wing in parc ferme...

What might happen at turn one?
Valtteri Bottas will now start on the front row alongside Max Verstappen for the sprint race and one user used The Simpsons to predict what might happen into turn one...

A fake title race and one of the laps of the season?
Do you agree with this user?
Lewis drove his heart out with one of his best performances of the year and something still costs him. That’s the story of the season, and it’s past the point of no return now. This season has been mostly depressing, fake tale of a close title battle, which is actually one sided

I’ve got full faith in Lewis doing the best he can till the last race but when there’s things that go against you that are out of your control, you can’t do anything about it

Reverse grid anyone?
Time to see if reverse grid sprints have got legs then…
This is shaping up to be an incredible weekend.
