No doubt about it Chandhok: 'No matter how strong Max is...'

The Formula 1 world is waiting to see what the stewards will say today regarding Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Karun Chandhok knows what will not be a point of discussion in Verstappen's case.
Yesterday F1 fans were shocked by a report from the FIA that Lewis Hamilton may have breached technical regulations with his rear wing. With a chance of a disqualification, this could be a huge blow for his title aspirations. At least, until Max Verstappen was also called to the stewards for touching Hamilton's car after qualifying.
It is thought that Mercedes may be making the argument that the Dutchman has tinkered with the Brit's rear wing, making the part non-compliant with the regulations. According to Karun Chandhok, that's just nonsense. "Let's be clear, the wings are designed to withstand hundreds of kilos of pressure without breaking. Andre the Giant can sit on them! Regardless of how fit and strong as Max is, I doubt he can bend the wing..." the former F1 driver said on Twitter.
Will there be a penalty for Verstappen?
Verstappen went to the stewards at 12:30 British time for the incident. No decision has been made yet. A grid penalty or a disqualification might be considered harsh, because other drivers have touched the cars of competitors in the past and received no penalty. Sebastian Vettel in particular has touched quite a few cars during his inspections over the years.
