Marko expects victory in Brazil: "Then he can have 25 points lead"

Max Verstappen is not only a talented driver, he is also involved in many other things during the race. He was actively involved in the strategy of team mate Sergio Perez in the United States Grand Prix, and he also wanted to ruin Valtteri Bottas ' attempt to set the fastest lap. Helmut Marko was less happy about the latter, as he prefers not to see his driver take unnecessary risks.
Yet he glimmers with pride when talking to the German branch of Sky Sports about Verstappen's abilities. "He has so many talents," he smiles. Nevertheless, it's safe to rely on the team to make decisions like that.
Red Bull in good spirits going into Brazil
With Verstappen's current lead looking good, Red Bull Racing are going into the second week of the triple-header in high spirits. "In Brazil he should be able to win," Marko replied when asked what the chances are for the upcoming races. "Then he can have a twenty-five point lead".
"Our car is actually fast everywhere. The high temperatures seem to be favourable for us", concludes the Red Bull Racing advisor. That could mean good news as far as the remaining races are concerned. Not all Middle Eastern circuits may suit the Red Bull equally, but the temperatures could play into the team's hands.
