Helmut Marko is obviously very happy with the Mexican Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the race convincingly and Sergio Perez also scored important points in the battle for the constructors' championship. Marko talks about the race of Red Bull Racing.

The Red Bull Racing advisor was amazed how Verstappen secured first place at the start of the race. "It didn't look like it after qualifying, but we had the speed," he told Ziggo Sport's camera. "It was really good and in the race everything was under control."

Marko was very satisfied with Perez. The Mexican didn't do everything right this season but showed himself more and more convincing in the last Grands Prix. In his home race, he almost managed to beat Lewis Hamilton. "One more lap and he had it," judged Marko. "I don't bite my fingernails, but it was a lot of stress."

Battle in World Championship standings between Mercedes and Red Bull
