The winter test in Barcelona will not be broadcast live on F1TV. That's what Auto, Motor und Sport reports. The second week of testing in Bahrain should be visible for all fans.

At the moment we are still in the middle of the 2021 Formula 1 season, but the preparations for 2022 are well underway. A whole new set of regulations has been laid down for the teams, which will completely change the look of the cars. However, this will not be immediately visible for the viewers at home.

Winter test in 2022

According to the German AMuS, the test week in Barcelona (23 to 25 February) will only be open to print and online media. There will also be no live coverage of the sessions, only a summary at the end of the day. Earlier there was also talk of a longer first test week, but that has now been cancelled.

The second test week will be held in Bahrain, where also the first race of the season will be held. The test week is from March 11 until March 13 and gives the teams the opportunity to put the lessons of the first test session into practice. The season then starts a week later on March 18 in Bahrain.
