Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have a lot on their plate ahead of the US Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing-drivers were present at the ExxonMobil-campus, where they participated in a pit stop competition.

In the race, Verstappen and Pérez took on Stewart-Haas Racing drivers Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola. The teammates had to change a tire in the shortest possible time in pairs.

No career change for Verstappen

Verstappen, who dropped a wheel nut during the tyre change, concluded that he would be better off staying in the car. "I think I realized I am not a good guy for the pit box," he said in conversation with APnews.com. "It's better if I just keep driving the car."

For now, the promotional activities are over, but on Thursday evening the Dutchman will join the team for the press conference, where he will be reunited with a good friend.
