Last year's Turkish Grand Prix was a true spectacle due to the circumstances. It is therefore questionable how things will be this weekend. Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton showed a lot of confidence during the press conference.

Red Bull and Honda continue to work together

Honda is saying goodbye to Formula 1 at the end of this season, but that doesn't mean the partnership between Red Bull Racing and the Japanese is coming to an end. Both parties announced on Thursday morning that Honda will help the team maintain its high level of performance from 2022 onwards. It's good news for Verstappen, who hopes he can fight for the world title again next season.

Special racing overalls for Verstappen and Pérez

Red Bull is very grateful for the work Honda has done in recent years. That is why it is presenting a special livery this weekend to thank the Japanese for their efforts. Not only do Verstappen and Pérez drive a special car, but their race overalls have been adjusted to the colours of the engine supplier. The suit is white with red lettering.

Verstappen confident of world title

The battle between Hamilton and Verstappen will once again erupt during the Turkish GP. Although the British driver has a two point lead on his competitor in the world championship, most drivers think Verstappen has the best chance for a victory. However, the Dutchman knows better than anyone that it will be exciting until the last race.

Possible engine change for Hamilton

Hamilton seems to have to change his engine this season, so the question is when Mercedes is planning to do so. According to several media outlets Mercedes is thinking about doing so this weekend, but for now the German formation is keeping the information to themselves. It is likely that Mercedes will make their decision during the first two free practices.
