Red Bull Racing has chosen a special Honda livery for the Turkish Grand Prix. It's not the first time Red Bull has designed a one-off livery. We've listed the five most unique designs for you.

Monaco 2005 - Star Wars

It's Red Bull's debut year in Formula 1 and they're already known as the team that seems to take things less seriously. The music is loud in the garage, and Christian Horner's team has a slightly different approach to things. This becomes clear when the Formula 1 circus arrives in Monaco.

Red Bull Racing opted for a Star Wars livery for the Monaco Grand Prix. Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith has just hit the screens and Red Bull will be giving the entire car a Star Wars look. Not only the car was modified, but the mechanics were also given stormtrooper outfits. It wasn't a great success. David Coulthard and Vitantonio Liuzzi both crashed out.

Monaco 2006 - Superman

One year after the Star Wars livery, Red Bull once again took the lead at Monaco. Once again, a film was the reason for a completely new theme. Superman Returns brought a cape to the livery, and a big 'S' to Red Bull's garage. Horner joked prior to the weekend that he would jump into the pool naked if his team won a podium, but he regrets that.

With this livery, a unique result is achieved. Starting from seventh on the grid, Coulthard drove to a third-place, taking the first podium in Red Bull Racing history. Horner doesn't enter the pool naked, but he sticks to the theme by entering the pool with a cape.

Silverstone 2007 & 2012 - Wings for Life

At the 2007 and 2012 British Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing came up with another special design. To raise money for the charity Wings for Life (a foundation dedicated to spinal cord injury), Red Bull fans placed a photo of themselves on the car in exchange for a donation. In 2012, more than 25,000 photos were placed on the car, bringing in one million euros.

In 2007 Red Bull already picked a unique Wings for Life design with the photos. In 2012 it was more incorporated in the design and the Red Bull colours. In 2012 it was also more successful, with a victory for Mark Webber.

Interlagos 2008 - Wings for life

Also in 2008, Red Bull drives with a special livery for Wings for Life, but this time the livery is special for David Coulthard. In Brazil, he will drive his last race in Formula 1, after which he will also act as an ambassador for Wings for Life. For this race, the car is completely painted in white. Coulthard unfortunately does not finish the race.

Tests 2015, 2018 and 2019 - Cameo

Red Bull Racing's finest designs may not have even been seen during races. Prior to the season, Red Bull Racing more often uses a so-called camouflage livery. The main aim of the livery is to fool photographers and make details of the car as difficult to see as possible.

Despite many requests from fans, the beautiful designs in 2015, 2018 and 2019 were only seen in a test. Especially the 2018 and 2019 editions stand out, as that livery was close to the original livery.
