'Red Bull is a quicker car for sure in those conditions'

Lewis Hamilton seemed to be the favourite to take pole position for the Russian Grand Prix. However, the British driver was unable to get any further than fourth on the grid due to the weather conditions.
Max Verstappen watched most of qualifying from the inside. Red Bull Racing changed his engine this weekend, forcing him to start from the back of the grid. According to Peter Windsor Hamilton is lucky with that, because otherwise the driver of Red Bull might have reached pole position.
"I think you can probably say with reasonable assurance that this was a qualifying session which Verstappen would have had a very good chance of taking the poll," said Windsor on his YouTube channel. "If Mercedes had done what they did and Max was in the other Red Bull. Not to detract in any way from Lando because the Red Bull is a quicker car for sure in those conditions."
