Lewis Hamilton underwent what he described as 'intensive physiotherapy' after his crash with Max Verstappen at Monza. It came in for some criticism from the Brit, as he complained about his condition after the race while attending the MET gala a day later.

"I had intensive physiotherapy after the race, also during my flight. On Monday I had a check-up. I'm lucky I didn't suffer any real damage," he said in conversation with Ziggo Sport.
"I'm grateful to be able to carry on in the battle and with all the other things I do," continued the Briton, who says he holds no grudge against Verstappen. "I just woke up the next morning feeling very grateful. Life is very precious, and this shows that anything can just happen," Hamilton concluded.
