Ricciardo starts on the front-row, alongside Verstappen: "Good to be back"

It is clear that the McLarens are strong on the straights this year. Daniel Ricciardo proved that on the Monza circuit, with a third place in the sprint race. That also means a second starting spot for the Italian Grand Prix, alongside former teamamte Max Verstappen.
"It's been a long time since I've been in this position, so it feels good. It's good to be back. Tomorrow is the important day, but we also gained a position because of Valtteri's problems, so we start from the first row of the grid. That's been a really long time, so I'm very happy with that," the smiling Australian explained.
Attacking at Monza
"I'm going full attack from the start. That's what gave me the chance today. I had a good start and for a moment I thought I could maybe catch Max in the first corner, but he had the inside. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow," Ricciardo concluded.
