'The perfection of Verstappen and Red Bull should worry Mercedes'

Max Verstappen was the man around whom everything revolved at the Dutch Grand Prix last weekend. With so much pressure on his shoulders, Tom Clarkson and Natalie Pinkham say it was a championship winning performance from Max in Zandvoort.
With all the pressure from the fans in attendance on his shoulders, Verstappen remained extremely calm under all the tension. The Dutchman has never experienced such pressure or the pressure that comes with a title fight, but the Red Bull Racing driver just focused on the task at hand, and did so almost perfectly at Zandvoort.

''Just very calm. Like he didn't want to think about it. He didn't want to give himself more pressure. He's just very preoccupied with his task. To think that he is only 23. He really has an old head on his shoulders. He doesn't let all the emotions of this get him out of the way. He just works with the resources he has,'' says Natalie Pinkham in the F1 Nation Podcast.
''I thought it was a championship-winning performance. I thought if Max can perform in such an environment with so much pressure, then he won't fail under pressure when this championship is decided in the last races. As a Mercedes you are now also worried after what you have seen this weekend. How Max dealt with it, but also how near perfect Red Bull were under pressure'', concluded Tom Clarkson.
