Full results FP3: Mercedes behind Verstappen by more than five tenths

Max Verstappen took an important step towards pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix ahead of qualifying. The Dutchman was over half a second faster in Zandvoort, with Valtteri Bottas ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the top three. Hamilton was even over seven-tenths slower than the Dutchman.
What also helped Verstappen was Sergio Perez's slipstream on his fastest lap. Also, notable was Alpine, who with Fernando Alonso were hugely fast and leading the midfield in FP3. Ferrari seemed fast all weekend, but partly due to Carlos Sainz's crash they ultimately failed to impress in the final free practice session.
