Sainz brings out the first red flag on Saturday at Zandvoort with a heavy crash
- GPblog.com
Carlos Sainz has been the first driver to find the wall at Zandvoort. He lost control of his car towards turn 3, one of the corners in the dunes. An oversteer moment caused both sides of his car to hit the wall hard. The Spaniard will hope that the damage is not too serious.
The drivers seemed to try a lot of different lines in the Hugenholtz this weekend, as the corner has, but Sainz seemed to want to go in too quickly now. The rear end shot through too far and since qualifying is already in a few hours, it will be a race against the clock.

Thankfully he is okay and gets out of his car. We are now under a red flag whilst we wait for the track to be cleared#DutchGP #F1 pic.twitter.com/PQCVaVpZQC
