This weekend the second part of the season also starts for Max Verstappen. After a dramatic end of a very strong first half of the season, the Dutchman hopes for a better result during this weekend's race in Spa.

During the press conference of Formula 1, Verstappen said that he expects Mercedes to continue the line of the previous races during the second half of the season.

"They were very fast in Hungary and will be again here. This is historically not a great track for us, because of the long straights. We have made up some ground in terms of top speed, but we are not quite there yet."

Rain or no rain?

It's a mystery for Verstappen too, but the fact that he has to bring it up probably indicates that Verstappen feels Mercedes will be faster than Red Bull at Spa. If so, other weather conditions, such as rain, are a fine solution.

"We'll just have to see how it goes, also considering the weather. There might be some rain coming." Whether Verstappen will also be helped by the weather gods remains to be seen.
