The summer break is over and that means that we can speak of a race week again. This weekend, Formula 1 kicks off the second half of the season with the Belgian Grand Prix. Find out what time each session starts this weekend.

For the first time in years, the Formula 1 title race is exciting again. With Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen both in contention for the title, the summer break felt a lot longer than usual. This season has kept us on the edge of our seat, and we're dying to know how it ends.

A chance for Verstappen

F1 wants to organise 23 races in 2021, so according to that plan, 12 races should be held in the second half of the season. At this moment only 10 races are on the official schedule. We start off well, because after three weeks without Grand Prix, we now get three in a row. We start in Belgium, followed by the GP of the Netherlands and Italy.

For the Grand Prix at the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, the standard European times will be maintained. This means that the race and qualifying will start at 3pm UK time this weekend and the first session on Friday will start at 11:30am. Each session will be covered by a live blog by GPblog.
