After the Hungarian Grand Prix there's nothing on the calendar for the F1 paddock for three weeks and it's time for the well-deserved summer break. GPblog's F1 Social Stint finds out what the teams and drivers are up to during the summer break.

Ricciardo tests with 2022 Pirelli tyres

Although the summer break has officially begun, a number of teams will stay in Hungary a little longer. Pirelli is carrying out a number of tests with different teams, to collect more data for the 2022 tyres. Yesterday George Russell tested for Mercedes and today it's Daniel Ricciardo' s turn for McLaren. Today Ferrari will also test with the new tyres.
