Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix gets underway at 14:00. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen look set to battle it out for pole position in Q3, with an exciting afternoon to come. Following Friday practice, Bottas looks to be in the mix as well.

The battle between the two drivers has been exciting to watch this season, but after the incident at Silverstone, both teams are sharper than ever. Hamilton did his best to overtake Verstappen on the first lap, but the two touched. Both teams exchanged some interesting words and messages throughout the week.

Hamilton and Verstappen were not far apart during free practice, so it remains to be seen what the difference will be. Valtteri Bottas also made a good impression, so Mercedes may be able to use the two drivers in their strategy on Sunday afternoon. Perez found himself slightly off the pace.

Verstappen is currently eight points ahead in the world championship, but a good performance from Hamilton could minimise this lead. If the Dutchman wants to go into the summer break as the championship leader he will need to put in a good result in Hungary.
