Max Verstappen has a clear opinion on the way Mercedes celebrated Lewis Hamilton 's victory at Silverstone. The Dutchman still stands by his words.

"Not only just the celebration, but the team celebrated it like it was a world championship. I don't think you can do that when you've just caused such a crash," the Dutchman told the camera of Sky Sports.

"If it would be the other way around, I definitely would deserve a kicking. Jos [Verstappen] would tell me that. That's how I grew up, you can't do these kind of things. That's why I thought it was not correct."

Verstappen looks ahead

Yesterday it was announced that Red Bull Racing's appeal was rejected by the FIA. According to them there is not enough evidence to give Hamilton a heavier penalty. Verstappen is now looking ahead to the upcoming races.

"I race hard and of course I’m always gonna defend my position in the best way possible and I’m never gonna make it easy for someone. You just look ahead and just have a positive weekend here but also in the other races is coming after the break I expect to race hard and fair", Verstappen said.
