Mercedes to attack Red Bull again: 'Got momentum again'

Toto Wolff believes Mercedes have regained some momentum following their victory in the British Grand Prix. The Austrian coach feels his team has a good chance of winning the race but knows Red Bull Racing still have a strong car.
Who will be the winner in Budapest? "You can't just assume on the basis of the papers that we will be among the favourites there, but of course we will do our utmost to keep the championship open or maybe even gain a lead," said Wolff, who thinks Mercedes will find it 'much harder' than at Silverstone.
Merecdes knows what it will take
Yet there is also confidence in the Brackley formation. The updates introduced during the British GP seem to be working well and according to Wolff Mercedes understand the W12 a lot better now. "I think as a team we just need to stay stable, we need to be aware of our strengths, develop the car further and at the same time stay flawless."
Mercedes is back in the race for the title among both drivers and constructors. Things can move quickly in the premier class of motorsport, the 49-year-old top executive knows."In our environment in Formula 1, you tend to oscillate a bit between frenzy and despair. And if you ever have a bad race or a bad series like we had until Silverstone, people write us off. And then we win at Silverstone and suddenly you have momentum again," Wolff said in conversation with RTL.
