Ocon hopes to regain form with new chassis for Silverstone

Esteban Ocon will drive the British Grand Prix with a new chassis. The Frenchman did not manage to score any points in the last four Grands Prix and hopes to return to his old form with the new chassis.
Strong start from Ocon
Ocon had an excellent start to the season. In the first five races, he finished in the points four times and generally drove better than teammate and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso. But meanwhile, his last points finish was a ninth place in Monaco. After four disappointing races, he reportedly asked Alpine to change as many parts as possible on his car.
Unclear if the problem is technical
This is exactly the reason why Ocon will have a new chassis in Britain. "Esteban had two difficult races in Austria and we are still investigating whether there are technical reasons for this," Manager Marcin Budkowski revealed at Motorsport-Total.com. "To remove any doubt, the team has taken the decision to make extensive changes to the car for Silverstone, including a new chassis."
Budkowski wants to do everything he can to bring back the good form Ocon had at the start of 2021. "We are working together to make sure he regains his old strength and this weekend is the perfect opportunity to do that."
