Verstappen makes great impression: 'He does that weekend after weekend'
Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will battle for the world title this season. Where the Dutchman is currently dozens of points ahead of his competitor, Hamilton cannot be written off yet. Even better: it looks like it will be an exciting season in Formula 1.
The Englishman started the season very well and increased the gap to Verstappen, but after a few races the mutual battle changed. In Monaco, Verstappen even became the first Dutchman ever to reach the top of the world championship standings and has not relinquished this lead for the time being. "Max and Lewis are performing at the very highest level and it is fascinating to follow the championship," Nico Hülkenberg stated to RTL Germany, recorded by Motorsport.com.
The German driver is impressed with Verstappen. "He is only 23, but already has six years of experience in Formula 1. As a result, he's already insanely seasoned and you can see that now that he can deliver his performances seemingly at the push of a button. He does that weekend after weekend. He's on a very good success wave at the moment, has excellent self-confidence and also confidence in his car."

Hamilton is currently facing a 32-point deficit to Verstappen. However, the Mercedes driver hopes to narrow the gap at Silverstone and fight his way back into the championship.
