The mutual bond between Max Verstappen and his teammate has never been as strong as with Sergio Perez. The Dutchman also had a good relationship with Daniel Ricciardo, but there was also tension. With Perez at his side, Verstappen is in great shape and he took five victories this season.

In The Talking Bull-podcast Perez asks the Dutchman what it is like to be involved in a title fight. "It’s good, I mean it’s fine. When you have a good car that’s the most enjoyable about it so that you can race for podiums and wins at every race. I’m just enjoying it."

No mind games for Verstappen

The title battle between Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton has continued to develop in recent weeks, with Verstappen's three-straight wins pushing the Red Bull Racing driver further ahead in the championship. Asked by the Mexican if any mind games are getting into the Dutchman, Verstappen is clear. “Even if they do, I don’t really pay attention to it."

In Austria, we saw full grandstands again for the first time, with very many orange fans. For Verstappen enough reason to look forward to a number of races to come, such as Zandvoort and the Dutch Grand Prix. "The grandstand in the middle will be very orange. It will be nice. In the end, they really create the atmosphere around the track. Not only the Dutch fans, but just to have a crowd back and slowly everything starts to get normal," said Verstappen.
