Sergio Perez did not have his best race at the Austrian Grand Prix, to say the least. The Mexican received two penalties in his duel with Charles Leclerc and thus lost his fifth place to Carlos Sainz. Helmut Marko is disappointed with the penalties.

It rained penalties at the Austrian Grand Prix, and Perez was involved in many of them. In the opening laps of the Grand Prix, Perez collided with Norris, who pushed him out onto the gravel. The Mexican was devastated by this, but later did something similar twice in duel with Leclerc.

Penalty for Perez and Norris

Marko doesn't like the penalties that were given this weekend. ''I think these penalties are too heavy. One would have been enough for Perez because the second penalty is a consequence of the first. We want to see drivers race, don't we?'', says the Red Bull Racing chief according to Motorsport-magazin.com.

Marko is not happy with the penalties Perez received but also does not think Norris should have received a penalty for the duel with Perez. ''They are all driving on the limit, so as long as nobody flies off it is fine as far as I am concerned. Norris shouldn't have received a penalty either'', the Austrian concluded.
