Button honest: 'It doesn't really matter who wins the title, with this championship'

After seven Grands Prix, it is clear that this season we will see an extremely exciting championship between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The exciting French Grand Prix was won by the Dutchman of Red Bull Racing and with that, both title contenders have now won three races.
According to Jenson Button, the rest of the season doesn't really matter at this point. "Now it's at the point where it doesn't matter who wins, you know, it's such a cool championship that they're fighting against each other," Button explained in conversation with Express. Hamilton's former teammate sees that Red Bull could well become champions.
Verstappen his only chance this year?
"If Lewis wins an eight title, that's fantastic, and he thoroughly deserves it. But, you know, Max gets one over on him. Wow. An amazing achievement going into this new era of F1," Button explained. He does expect this season to be all-or-nothing for the team from Austria, with Honda leaving as engine supplier.
"You know, for Max and Red Bull, this might be their last chance or their first chance and last chance to win a championship together. Who knows what's going to happen when they take over the Honda Power Units," Button concluded mysteriously. Red Bull will launch their own engine project in 2022, but success with it is far from guaranteed.
