Pérez compares Verstappen to other drivers: 'He doesn’t do that'

Sergio Pérez secured his first win for Red Bull Racing at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Mexican driver saw his teammate Max Verstappen retire and crossed the finish line first.
Pérez tells Sky Sports F1 that he is happy to be teamed up with Verstappen. "Max is a tremendous talent. From the first lap in FP1 to the last lap on Sunday he is 110 per cent. You see with other drivers that they have days off. He doesn’t do that and is delivering at a very high level."
Since this season, drivers have only 60 minutes during free practice to prepare themselves for qualifying and racing. Pérez notes that this makes it harder to perform well. "There is just so little time now and you can hardly do a set-up change in session, so it’s made it harder for those drivers who have changed teams, but overall it is still the same for everyone."
Pérez is third in the world championship
For now, Pérez is third in the world championship. The Red Bull driver captured 69 points in the first races, while number four Lando Norris is on 66 points.
