Verstappen: 'If you don't believe that, you'd better quit F1'.

Max Verstappen is still top of the Formula 1 championship, and of course that brings some pressure with it. But if you ask Verstappen himself, he says he's not worried about the extra attention at all.
Verstappen has been around for a while in Formula 1. The Dutchman debuted at Toro Rosso in 2015, and in 2016 got the chance to drive at Red Bull Racing. A top team, but a top car it wasn't for years. That will be the case in 2021, and so Verstappen can finally really compete for the world title.
Verstappen is the best
''A racing car has a steering wheel and two pedals. That's what you can control,'' Verstappen said when asked by the Radio 1 Newsbeat if he experiences extra pressure this season. ''As a driver, you always have to believe that you are the best. And do I? Of course,'' said Verstappen very convincingly. According to the Dutchman, Formula 1 is not for you otherwise.
''You have to believe you can beat anyone out there. If you really think that's not possible, then it's better to stop, because it's never going to work out. I can only do the best I can, you can't do more than that. That's what I always try to achieve every single weekend," concluded the Red Bull Racing driver.
