Looking back at his performance during the 105th stage of the famous Indy 500, Rinus 'Veekay' van Kalmthout is satisfied with his result. The Dutchman started from the first row of the grid, but due to an unfortunate last pit stop he had to settle for P8 at the finish line.

For a significant portion of the race, the Ed Carpenter Racing driver managed to hold on to his place at the front of the field. He started from third and even briefly took the lead. The crown jewel of Indycar was eventually won by Helio Castroneves, who received the bottle of milk for the fourth time in his career.

Fantastic month for Veekay

"Led 32 laps and was right in contention to win the race", 'Veekay' begins his analysis on his personal Twitter page. "A few unfortunate moments on the last pit cycle sent us back down the field."

"All in all it was an awesome month of May, and I'm really proud of everyone at Ed Carpenter Racing, the Bitcoin car was insanely fast," said van Kalmthout.
