Perez hopes: 'In Abu Dhabi nobody remembers this race'

Despite his relatively successful result in Monaco and the upward trend in his performances at Red Bull, Sergio Perez knows where his team's main focus lies: winning the title after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
"I am happy with the result," Perez revealed after the Monaco Grand Prix. He did so opposite Formel1.de. Despite being largely absent during qualifying, the Mexican managed to make himself useful during the race, and a cleverly timed pit stop strategy from Red Bull ensured a P4 result.
Going for the title
Knowing that the result could have been better, Perez is keen to look ahead to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which marks the end of the racing season in December. He argues that, at the end of it all, no one will remember a bad race by Red Bull. "I think when we go to Abu Dhabi nobody will remember this race," he said.
Perez continued, "It's all about the championship. It's such a long championship that it's crucial to minimize the bad days and come out strong from a bad day."
