Lawrence Stroll on Aston Martin: "We've put that behind us".

Lawrence Stroll reveals that Aston Martin isn't fully focused on 2022 yet. The British team expects to come up with additional updates for the AMR-21 in the coming Grands Prix.
Aston Martin's comeback not a smooth one
Aston Martin is having a difficult comeback to Formula 1. The results are still far from what was hoped for prior to the season and the team already had to leave the battle for third place in the constructors' championship because McLaren and Ferrari have run too far. Nevertheless, Aston Martin isn't giving up on 2021 just yet, Stroll revealed to Motorsport.com.
"So we’re trying to claw our way back and never give up, and we keep bringing bits to the car to try and get back to where we should be," said Stroll. Aston Martin finally had a strong weekend in Monaco with Sebastian Vettel's fifth position and Lance Stroll's eighth.
Updates still on the way
Aston Martin is particularly bothered by the new floor regulations that came into effect in 2021. "We have put that behind us. We're just working on clawing back as much as we can." There are also some updates in the queue according to Stroll. "I don't know exactly how much, to be honest with you. We're certainly not finished bringing something to the car, but it clearly can't be too much longer."
