Horner compares Perez to Ricciardo: "He's not doing too well either"

Red Bull Racing are still confident in Sergio Perez. The Mexican finished ninth in qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix after running into several cars in the final sector. Christian Horner also stated that it would be good for the sport to see Ferrari back at the top.
"It will come for him [Sergio] I have no doubt," Horner said in a conversation with Sky Sports after qualifying. Perez is not the only driver to struggle in the first few Grand Prix weekends at his new team. Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso are also examples of drivers who already have several world titles behind their names but are not quite getting it right.
Ricciardo is another example
Ricciardo too actually belongs to that company at Mclaren."You know Daniel - what a great driver he is and obviously that is not flowing for him at the moment," Horner outlines the situation.
For Ferrari, the Monaco Grand Prix may be the turning point after two difficult years in the premier class of motorsport. "I think they have been super fast all weekend. I mean they have not chosen this kind of pace so far this year, but I think it's healthy and it's good to see Ferrari up there. It's good to have more cars in the mix," the Red Bull team boss concluded.
