Mick Schumacher will not participate in the qualifying of the Monaco Grand Prix. The German crashed at the end of the third free practice and his car is too badly damaged.
Heavy crash during FP3
The Haas F1-team confirms this on Twitter. Schumacher cannot compete because of damage to the chassis of his VF-21. The team needs all the time to build up the car for Sunday's race. Schumacher will also need a new gearbox, so he might also get a penalty.
During the third free practice Schumacher lost the rear of his car in the Casino corner. He hit the wall quite hard with his left side. Schumacher himself was unhurt.
