Red Bull Racing and Mercedes will be battling it out for pole position in qualifying again this weekend. Although Max Verstappen seems to have a good chance of taking pole position, Kees van de Grint believes it is difficult to predict who will be in the lead.

The analyst tells RTL GP Slipstream of Verstappen's chances. "I think the most important thing is that Red Bull lives up to it and has the speed that we all thought it had," he looks ahead towards the Monaco GP. "It won't be Max, because he'll squeeze a few tenths out of it. That might just be pole."

However, Van de Grint expects the teammates of Verstappen and Hamilton to have a good chance as well. "Hamilton and Verstappen are the two best drivers, but the best car at the moment is with a star," he points towards Mercedes. "Then there is also (Valtteri) Bottas and that is not a slow guy in qualifying. But it could just as easily be the other way around with Verstappen and (Sergio) Pérez. It's going to be a very interesting race."
