Commenting on McLaren's newly unveiled Gulf Oil livery, British driver Lando Norris states that his car will be by far the most beautiful on the grid this weekend, and reveals a minor disagreement with McLaren CEO Zak Brown regarding the new design.

"It's beautiful", begins Norris as quoted by Formula1.com. "I think everyone can agree it will be the best-looking car on the grid by a very long way." In addition to McLaren's classic papaya, the new livery is also adorned by the blue of Gulf oil, long a sponsor of the British racing stable.

"It’s awesome, it’s a cool opportunity for both of us, and especially at Monaco, so I think it brings it all together, it’s pretty unique", Norris said.

Brown disagrees

Norris continued, referencing a disagreement he had with Brown over the design compared to the classic MCL35M: “I said to Zak it looks even better than our current livery but he didn’t sound so convinced by that.”
