BREAKING: Turkish Grand Prix cancelled with Austria to host two races

Following increased restrictions on British travel to Turkey, Formula 1 has taken the decision to cancel this year's planned Turkish Grand Prix and host two races in Austria.

In recent weeks there has been growing concerns over rising cases of the coronavirus in Turkey and the UEFA Champions League was also moved to Portugal as a result of travel restrictions imposed by the UK government. 

With Turkey now on the red list F1 have also taken action bringing forward the French Grand Prix by a week and the Styrian Grand Prix taking place on the 25-27 of June. The Austrian Grand Prix will keep its original slot the week later.

Turkey was initially a replacement for the Canadian Grand Prix but with the last restrictions on travel to the county F1 were forced to take action.
