According to Aston Martin team principal, Otmar Szafnauer Sebastian Vettel will find his form soon. The German came over from Ferrari last winter, but so far his results at Aston Martin have been disappointing.

Vettel will work tirelessly

"I know he has high expectations of himself and will work tirelessly to improve on this learning curve," Szafnauer said in a conversation with the likes of Marca. Vettel is not punishing himself too hard and according to Szafnauer, the four-time world champion will soon catch up.

Szafnauer believes Vettel's form is partly down to the team itself. "We were not as reliable as we wanted to be and Seb lost a significant part of his day and a half of testing", says the American.

More drivers experiencing problem after the switch

Vettel isn't the only driver struggling to get used to his new car. Szafnauer spoke to his former driver Sergio Perez who in turn has moved to Red Bull Racing. According to Szafnauer the Mexican also has to get used to the new car.

It will be a matter of time before Vettel recovers his form, Szafnauer knows. "The longer he is in the car, the better. I'm sure it will be good," he concludes.
