Red Bull Racing did not have a trouble-free Friday. In the first free practice session, Sergio Perez was forced to retire early, but in the second free practice session, Max Verstappen had problems and had to retire early. Red Bull Racing thinks they have found the problem.

The Red Bull of Max Verstappen came to a standstill on the track. It was reported that he would not be able to return to the track during the session. Red Bull Racing reported to Sky Sports after the session that it was probably a problem with the driveshaft.

Work to do for Red Bull

Verstappen said on the radio that "something broke" at the rear of the car. So it might have been the driveshaft. During the rest of the training, the mechanics were busy working on the rear of the Red Bull.

Also, team principal Christian Horner has confirmed the suspicions. So there is work to be done for Red Bull to make sure both cars are back in order for qualifying on Saturday.
