The Canadian Grand Prix has been cancelled but Formula 1 will continue to host 23 Grand Prix during the 2021 season. The Turkish Grand Prix has agreed to fill the empty space on the F1 calendar.

Istanbul Park continues

The 2021 Canadian Grand Prix cannot take place due to the restrictions that remain in that country due to the coronavirus. However, F1 has acted quickly, calling in a known replacement. The Grand Prix of Turkey returns to the calendar, after its appearance last year was welcomed by fans.

The race at Istanbul Park in 2020 was a real spectacle. With rain falling throughout the week, the newly laid tarmac was put to the test and so were the drivers. Lance Stroll took pole position in the rain, while Lewis Hamilton showed on Sunday that he doesn't win just because he's in the strongest car. A true spectacle, which we hope the 2021 edition will come close to.
