After the eventful first Grand Prix in Bahrain the first standings can be drawn up in the fight for the constructors' title in 2021. Lewis Hamilton 's victory puts Mercedes in the lead, but if the Bahrain race is an omen for the rest of the season the Silver Arrows might have a hard time securing the constructors trophy.

Both Red Bull and Mercedes started the 2021 season strongly. The two major contenders for the constructors' title both drove in the points with two drivers and took a good first step towards the title.

McLaren was also sharp again. Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo finished fourth and seventh. With 18 points the team is in third place.

Ferrari scored twelve points during the Bahrain Grand Prix and thus starts the season in fourth place. The Italian outfit, who finished sixth last season, will not be unhappy with this result.

This is the current ranking in the battle for the constructors' title:

1. Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team. 41

2. Red Bull Racing. 28

3. McLaren F1 Team. 18

4. Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow. 12

5. Scuderia AlphaTauri Honda. 2

6. Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team. 1

7. Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen. 0

8. Alpine F1 Team. 0

9. Williams Racing. 0

10. Uralkali Haas F1 Team. 0
