Extremely happy Verstappen: "I haven't experienced that at Red Bull"

Max Verstappen took his fourth pole position of his career. He did so in a dominant fashion. Now he has the confirmation that his lead wasn't due to Mercedes sandbagging.
"Obviously we have to have a good start tomorrow, that's important too," the Red Bull Racing driver told Ziggo Sport. "Hopefully after the first lap we can do our thing and it's good enough. So far everything has actually gone very well, so of course, I'm very happy with that."
The positive atmosphere at Red Bull since Abu Dhabi
"It's looking good. Of course, it's no guarantee for the rest of the season, but to start like this is really great. I haven't experienced that at Red Bull, so I'm very happy with it. You can also see that the team got a bit of a lift after that win in Abu Dhabi. That's paying off now."
There was a bit of a tense moment at the start of qualifying when Verstappen drove over the kerbs rather roughly. "I just wanted to see if anything was really torn off, but nothing was broken off or anything. But it was pretty hard, at least I felt it in the car," said the Dutchman.
