Sainz not comfortable yet: 'Haven't had long to get used to it'

This season Carlos Sainz will make his debut in red. The brand new Ferrari driver is fulfilling his own dream by racing for the Italians this weekend. Yet the Spaniard will not drive comfortably straight away. Due to the limited amount of testing days he could only get used to the new car for one and a half days.
During the press conference, prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix, Sainz explained Formel1.de how he would have preferred it to be. "We are as prepared as we could have been. It's only three days and that's hugely short. Fortunately we did manage to work out most of our planned programme," Sainz revealed.
Getting a feeling in the car
In that press conference Sainz also says he's not entirely comfortable with the new car yet. "Nevertheless I'm ready to get into the car this weekend". Where Sainz still has to get used to the car, for Charles Leclerc it's all familiar territory. He says he feels the car has improved a lot.
"The car is running a lot better than last season, but we need to see where we are this weekend. Only in qualifying will we know how big a step we havemade", Leclerc concluded.
