The Formula One season is finally about to begin, and as usual it starts with the winter test. This year, however, the test will not be held in Barcelona, but the drivers and teams will prepare in Bahrain. Find out who will be in action and when.

Formula 1 wanted to return to a more normal season in 2021, but before any cars were even unveiled the Australian Grand Prix had to be moved and so the season starts in Bahrain. Therefore, the winter test will also be held in Sakhir.

Testing in Bahrain

The winter test is a special edition this season, because with only three days of testing the teams and drivers have never had such little time to prepare for the season. Everything is about saving costs, as the sport and also the teams suffer from the consequences of the coronavirus.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the teams will be in action, but as always, they can only use one car per day. This means that each driver has only one and a half days to test.
