Bottas: "Just gets me more fired up for the new season"

Valtteri Bottas has had the fastest car in Formula 1 since 2017 but has yet to really give his teammate a hard time. Will he be able to with the W12 in 2021?
In 2017, Bottas came to Mercedes from Williams to replace the departed world champion Nico Rosberg. While the Finn did a decent job in his first year, in the other years he fell short of making things really difficult for Lewis. As a second driver, he fills in perfectly for Mercedes, but he himself always wants more. Is this the year it will happen for him?
Bottas 4.0?
“Obviously we haven’t been able to visit the factory much in the past year, so firstly, I’m really happy to be back here and to see the new car in person for the first time,” said Valtteri Bottas in the Mercedes press release.
“I’ve been getting regular updates on how things are progressing, so it’s nice to now be able to see the end result in the flesh and that just gets me more fired up for the new season. The cars are pretty similar to last year but there are some interesting aero changes that will have an impact on how the car handles and
performs, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it feels on track in Bahrain.”
