Haas have launched their car for the 2021 season! With high-profile figures like Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin behind the wheel, this may be a car that will be looked back on often in the future as they look to rise back through the field.

As the youngest team in Formula 1, it is not always easy to keep your head above water, let alone stand out from the crowd. However, in the first few years, Haas managed to do that more than adequately. This is largely due to their collaboration with Ferrari, from whom they buy many parts, and Dallara, who designs the chassis.

Haas must try to turn the tide

In the first few seasons, the collaboration went so well that it led to criticism from teams who built their cars themselves. However, Haas has since discovered that F1 is still a tricky business, despite a close partnership with Ferrari.

In both 2019 and 2020, the American team experienced major structural problems in tuning the car. In 2019, they were still fast at times, but the team could not figure out why. Last season's VF-20, on the other hand, was downright bad. To save more grey hairs on Guenther Steiner things will really have to improve with the new car.
