Sunday night saw the third weekend in this winter's Virtual Grand Prix Series. George Russell showed once again how fast he is on the Interlagos circuit, but it was not enough to win the championship. The Brazilians were able to celebrate during their home race.

Russell clearly the fastest virtual driver

Russell had to start the race from 14th position, but after chaos in the first corner he was already third at the end of the first lap. He eventually managed to stay ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi and Alexander Albon to secure his sixth consecutive virtual victory. On the times he did not win, he was not competing.

Partly because of this, Williams missed out on the top prize of a total prize pool of $100,000. This goes to Haas who scored the most points over three weekends thanks to the Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi brothers. The money they win with this goes to charity.
