Lando Norris is a standout in the paddock. The cheerful Brit is getting a lot of praise after his first two seasons in the paddock, and not only as a driver. In terms of personality, Norris is someone you would like to have in your team, according to McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
McLaren make big steps
McLaren are on the rise. The team has made great strides in recent years and with Renault engines returned to the podium after years of absence. Norris was a great help in these developments and shows a lot of good things both on and off track.
Brown knows what a talented driver he is, but also sees that he does a lot of good things off the track: "I think it is great to have a driver who draws attention to certain social issues. He does it in a very serious way and I think that is very important as well. I would say Lando is a breath of fresh air in the sport," said Brown according to FormulaPassion.it.
Norris is actually very shy
"He's actually a very shy person, but I know he doesn't look like that on his social posts. But that's who he is, he's authentic," said Brown. The American says he is proud of what Norris is achieving and is happy to see that the young Briton is comfortable with the team.
