For some time now, rumors have been flying around about potential candidates for the CEO position at Ferrari. Bosses at FIAT, Juventus, Vodafone and even Apple have been mentioned. Once again it is the turn of a man who currently works for a company that has very little to do with Ferrari .

It would be Marco Bizzarri (what's in the name), the current boss at Gucci. According to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta di Reggio, it would not be a strange choice because both Gucci and Ferrari are luxury brands. It would fit in with the policy outlined by predecessor Louis Camilleri, whereby Ferrari's luxury image should be exploited more.

Bizzarri has been successful at Gucci

At Ferrari, the main focus at the moment is on making as much money as possible and Bizzarri seems to be the right man for the job. In just five years that he has been at the helm of Gucci, the company has more than doubled its turnover. From 3.9 billion euros to 9.6 billion euros.

The fact that so many names are appearing at the top of the luxury industry seems to be a deliberate choice by chairman John Elkann. He is said to have hired a headhunting agency to search for possible candidates in this corner.
