After a new calendar for Formula 1, F2 also update their season schedule
After the modified Formula 1 calendar, Formula 2 now also confirm that their calendar has also been adjusted. Admittedly not as many changes as in the royal class, but the changes are there.
Formula 1 presented a new calendar for the 2021 season on Tuesday morning. It had been in the air for some time that the start of the season would be postponed and some adjustments would follow, but that was only made official on Tuesday. Now, however, Formula 2 also follows with some adjustments.
New F2 calendar
As part of the support act of Formula 1, it makes sense F2 also make changes. The advantage for F2 is that their season normally starts in Bahrain and no race has been lost. However, with the arrival of Imola, no race has been added.
The Formula 1 calendar still includes the races in Bahrain, Monaco, Azerbaijan, Britain, Italy, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. Those last two races have been moved. The street circuit in Jeddah should now be ready for the week of December 3-5 and the last race of the season will be held on December 12th.
